Pond Liners
|
|
|
|
Create your own water garden by creating a uniquely shaped garden pool, using a flexible pond liner. Liners are one of the most economical, versatile materials for pool construction, comparable to concrete in durability and life-span, without the labour and costs.

45 ml EPDM POND LINERS
$ .85/sq ft
(Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
This 45 mil rubber liner is guaranteed for 20 years. The liner has high expansion and contraction tolerances. The elasticity of the liner will accommodate the expansion and contraction action of ice, in those climates where an 18" deep pond will freeze to the bottom. The liners high compression strength makes it suitable for use with heavy boulders. There are no mildew-resistant chemicals to harm fish. This liner is easy to install and repair, and is highly recommended for pond installations.

Pond Underlay
$ .35/sq ft
This heavy duty, non-woven geotextile underlay is used to
create a cushion underneath your pond liner, protecting the
liner from sharp objects protruding into it, and
creating a puncture. An underlay is an important element of
your pond construction.

|
Pond Overlay $ .46/sq ft
Take the worry out of getting a tear in your liner from
sharp or heavy objects! This overlay is a tightly woven
re-enforced material with an elastomer coating. The overlay
functions as a barrier between objects with sharp edges such
as rocks, and your pond liner. The tight weave of this liner
prevents rocks from creating tears in the liner.
Most instructions on building a pond do not include this
valuable step. |

How to Measure for a Pond Liner:
The formula for determining what size of liner you
require is.
1. Measure the "length" and "width" of the desired
surface area 2. Add 2 times the depth of the pond
plus 2' for overlap at the surface.

The important thing to remember is that standard liner stock comes in roll widths of 10', 15', and 20'. To maximize your investment, make sure that one of your liner measurements match the a liner width. Otherwise, you may end up with excessive liner which you do not need. |
